CITY TOWER - KILN DRIED OREGON

We are currently delivering City Towers every Tuesday, with plans to add another day shortly as popularity grows!

Our City Towers contain 2 cubic metres of firewood compressed into a tower shape on a shipping pallet, and then wrapped tightly in a plastic wrap. Read more about City Towers here.

Oregon is a medium density wood that is relatively easy to catch a flame, can still be burnt by itself, but is slower burning than Pine and other softwoods meaning it will last longer, and ultimately release more heat into the room over the duration of the burn.

Slightly less dense than Larch and Macrocarpa and therefore slightly easier to get going, but doesn't release as much heat or burn quite as long.

Oregon mixes well with pine to give an easily maintained, hot quick burning mix. Or can be used to start the fire and create a good base for a hardwood such as Blue Gum to deliver a very hot, long lasting fire. It can even be burnt on its own, making it a great choice for versatility.
