Kiln Dried Pine ULEB Firewood

Ready to burn the day it arrives — kiln dried to a consistently low moisture content, so you get Pine's fast light-up and quick heat every time.

Pine is a popular firewood because it lights easily, gets hot quickly and burns efficiently.

As a softwood, Pine burns faster than many medium and hardwood species, making it particularly useful when you want to get a fire going quickly or use it as a mixing wood alongside longer-burning firewood.

Why choose ULEB Pine?

Pine is the easiest of our firewoods to get going, making it the natural choice when you want heat quickly and without fuss.

It burns well on its own for a fast, hot fire, and it is just as useful as a starting and mixing wood. Build a hot base with Pine, then add a medium or hardwood such as Oregon, Macrocarpa or Blue Gum once the fire is up to temperature.

Because it is a softwood, Pine burns through faster than denser species, so it suits shorter fires or use alongside longer-burning firewood.

Kiln Dried

Our Kiln Dried ULEB Pine has been dried in a controlled kiln environment, removing moisture and producing consistently dry, ready-to-burn firewood.

The high temperatures used during kiln drying also help kill or reduce mould spores and other microorganisms naturally present in wood, making it a particularly convenient option for storing and using around the home.

Wood size

Approximately 8–9 inches (20–23cm), with a smaller, finer split than our regular firewood.

The shorter length and finer split are specifically designed for ULEB and LEB burners, helping to promote good airflow through the burn chamber.

As with all natural firewood, individual pieces will vary slightly in size and shape.

Is ULEB Pine right for my fire?

If you have a modern ULEB or LEB burner with a smaller firebox, this is the Pine cut we recommend.

If you have a larger firebox, we recommend choosing from our regular firewood range instead.
