Off Season Specials
Our lower cost, off season options: the same clean, consistent firewood, with the option to do some or all of the drying yourself and save.
Dry It Yourself is our lowest cost option. The firewood is cut from logs and delivered or collected shortly after cutting, and you dry it at home following our DIY Dry Instructions. It is sold from September to December each year and needs five to six months outdoors before it is ready to burn.
Semi-Dry is the low cost convenience option. We store the firewood in our high airflow drying containers to begin the drying, which takes the handling out of a DIY dry and means it can go straight into your storage to finish drying before the cold, provided the area has good airflow.
Seasoned firewood has been dried naturally over time and is ready to burn. It does not burn as hot or as efficiently as our kiln dried wood, but it is a lower cost option comparable to typical dry firewood sold in Christchurch.
The differences between the four dryness levels, and which suits you, are on our Firewood Dryness Options page.
