Pine off-cuts are our ultimate bargain wood.
Made from untreated pine off-cuts from timber production these bits of wood are various shapes and sizes, and generally have less bulk than processed firewood.
We store our off-cuts in an outdoor pile and they can get wet in bad weather so we do not guarantee them as per our other kiln dried woods, however, they are kiln dried prior to being stored outside and they dry out quickly.
Due to the small size, and being made from pine, the off-cuts give a great heat, but burn quickly. To get the best value out of off-cuts they are best utilised as a base for a longer burning medium or hard wood.

Picked up a bootload last week, good stuff, burns well as it is, or mixed with other wood, clean, easy to handle, splits for kindling. I keep thinking I could build a narrow bookshelf or something.

Given we changed our order from offcuts to mixed pine and offcuts, but only offcuts were delivered, we're not happy. Sure, you refunded us the difference in cost immediately, but we're left with a woodshed full of offcuts during the coldest time of the year.
